What to Expect on Your First Visit
We want to help make this process as easy and wonderful as it can be. If you are coming to our practice for the first time, your visit will last an hour. Together we will review your history, perform an evaluation, and if necessary, refer you for x-rays. We will discuss how chiropractic care can help you and offer a customized chiropractic care plan based on your assessment.
Chiropractic Initial Visit
First, you will have a consultation with Dr. Jenn to discuss your health-related concerns, and potential chiropractic care plan options. This initial visit is designed for the doctor to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how chiropractic care can help you meet your goals and how we can best serve you.
We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have about chiropractic care for you and your family.
Your First Chiropractic Examination
After your Initial Visit, Dr. Jenn will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your spinal health. Some of the tests we utilize are:
> Computerized postural assessments
> Static Palpation
> Motion palpation
> Range of motion evaluation
> Weight-bearing test
Optional X-Rays
Depending on your specific condition, we may refer you for x-rays. X-rays can help us develop the most effective care plan for you and alert us of any serious spinal conditions.
We do not automatically x-ray every patient, but we ask that you bring any image studies done within the last five years.
Customized Care Plan
Once all your information has been collected and your examinations have been performed, you will be scheduled for a second visit. It is best the schedule the second visit within a week of your initial visit. During this second visit, the doctor will give you a detailed report on your spine and answer questions like:
> How often do I need to come in?
> What will my care cost?
> Can you help me?
After reviewing your health history, examining your spine and X-rays, your doctor will discuss your recommended care plan and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers.

One of the things we have heard repeatedly in our practice is how valuable our affordable care becomes to families that we serve. We have many payment options available and accept cash, checks, health savings plans, flexible spending accounts, and Visa/MasterCard/Discover/AMEX.
